Printmaking is one of my favorite ways to explore abstract pieces of a story that I'm creating. I work mostly with relief carving because I enjoy the physicality of the process. I use mono prints as a platform for the more detailed relief prints. I enjoy working the ink on aluminum plates and printing textures into my work. While I have often found myself exhausted over the labor-intensive processes, it is by far the one medium that has given me cathartic, expression-rich freedom in my work.
